Moerse Boys G1

Moerse Boys is a Dutch amateur football club from Klein-Zundert in North Brabant. The association was founded on November 13, 1943 under the name MVC. When the KNVB joined in the 1945/46 season, it turned out that there was already an association with this name and the name was changed to R.K.V.V. Moersche Boys.

Batenburg IAS has been the proud sponsor of the Moerse Boys G-team since the 2008/2009 football season. Click here for more information about this team.

Flower parade Zundert

The Bloemencorso Zundert is an annual flower parade in Zundert in September. It is the largest dahlia parade in the world and it is the first Dutch tradition on the National Inventory of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

The parade takes place annually on the first Sunday of September. During the Sunday afternoon the parade moves through the streets of Zundert. The following Monday, the parade floats are on display. The cars will be dismantled again on Tuesday. The event itself in early September is just the tip of the iceberg; in fact, Zundert is busy with the parade all year round.

Batenburg IAS has been a sponsor of several neighborhoods that build the cars for several years. More information about the parade can be found at www.corsozundert.nl.
