In addition, there was a lot of room for mutual interaction, during which time people became acquainted with each other and experiences regarding approach and implementation were exchanged. The overall conclusion of the afternoon was that the participating organizations have the security of their own operational systems in order. It was noted, however, that closer mutual cooperation in this area can improve OT security for the sector as a whole. Sharing specialist knowledge and experience increases the resilience level of the water sector in general and therefore also of the individual organizations belonging to it. The knowledge and experience available at specialist parties such as Waterfall Security and Batenburg Industrial Automation are indispensable in this regard.
Setting up a well-secured OT environment in a practical and manageable way, which makes cyber risks manageable, is of crucial importance for any organization, while ongoing maintenance should not be forgotten. We are happy to help you with both aspects!
