The outdated WMD Drinking Water Production Station needed upgrading to meet stricter standards. Additionally, Vitens required more water in Terwisga due to drying in the area, hence a 16 km long pressure pipeline was installed.
This vast water station with a prolonged timeline is a complete new construction, making it unique. Many panels, measurements, and consumers needed connection. Providing a massive generator was also a distinct feature for Batenburg Beenen.
